Hi, I’m fairly new to investing and this is a dumb question but what is the difference when investing in the AU shares vs US shares tab? 
Is it that the AU shares are funds held by brokers in Aus and the US one is US brokers? Is there a better option for an Aus investor? What are the tax implications of investing in US EFTs over Aus ones?

I currently hold shares in various Australian ETFs including VDHG, NDQ, ETHI, etc. My question is whether I should also be investing in US ETFs such as VOO. If these ETFs are made up of mostly the same/similar companies, are there any other benefits in choosing to go with US and AUS ETFs? Thanks!

Vanguard Australian Shares Index ETF (ASX: VAS) seeks to track the performance of the ASX 300 index before account fees, expenses, and taxes. The index tracks the top 300 companies on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). These are mostly large and established Australian companies. It is a popular choice among passive individual investors who don't have the time or the expertise to actively invest in stocks.

iShares MSCI Mexico Capped ETF (the Fund), formerly iShares MSCI Mexico Capped Investable Market Index Fund, is an exchange-traded fund (ETF). The Fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the MSCI Mexico IMI 25/50 Index (the Index). The Index consists of stocks traded primarily on the Mexican Stock Exchange. The Index is a free-float adjusted market capitalization weighted index with a capping methodology applied to issuer weights so that no single issuer of a component exceeds 25% of the Index weight and all issuers with weight above 5% do not exceed 50% of the Index weight. iShares MSCI Brazil Capped Index Fund (the Fund), formerly iShares MSCI Brazil Index Fund, seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of publicly traded securities in the Brazilian market, as measured by the MSCI Brazil Index (the Index). The Index seeks to measure the performance of the Brazilian equity market. It is a capitalization-weighted index that aims to capture 85% of the (publicly available) total market capitalization. The Fund invests in sectors, such as financials, energy, materials, consumer staples, utilities, consumer discretionary, telecommunication services, industrials, information technology and healthcare. BlackRock Fund Advisors (BFA) serves as the investment adviser to the Fund.

Brazil Capped ETF MSCI iShares

iShares Europe ETF (the Fund), formerly iShares S&P Europe 350 Index Fund, is an exchange-traded fund (ETF). The Fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the S&P Europe 350 (the Index). The Index measures the performance of the stocks of companies in the countries, which includes Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. The Fund generally invests at least 90% of its assets in securities of the Index and in depositary receipts representing securities of the Index. The Fund’s investment advisor is BlackRock Fund Advisors.

Europe iShares

iShares MSCI Germany ETF, formerly iShares MSCI Germany Index Fund (the Fund), is an exchange-traded fund. The Fund seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of publicly traded securities in the German market, as measured by the MSCI Germany Index (the Index). The Index seeks to measure the performance of the Germany equity market. It is a capitalization-weighted index that aims to capture 85% of the (publicly available) total market capitalization. The Fund invests in sectors, such as consumer discretionary, financials, materials, industrials, healthcare, information technology, utilities, telecommunication services and consumer staples. BlackRock Fund Advisors (BFA) serves as the investment adviser to the Fund.

Germany MSCI ETF iShares

Gladstone Land Corporation is an externally-managed, agricultural real estate investment trust (REIT). The Company is engaged in the business of owning and leasing farmland. It owns approximately 169 farms comprised of over 116,000 acres across 15 states in the United States and 45,000 acre-feet of banked water in California, as well as several farm-related facilities. The Company's farms are located in regions where its tenants are able to grow fresh produce annual row crops, such as berries and vegetables, which are generally planted and harvested annually. It also owns farms growing permanent crops, such as almonds, apples, cherries, figs, lemons, olives, pistachios, and other orchards, as well as blueberry groves and vineyards. It also owns several farm-related facilities, such as cooling facilities, packinghouses, processing facilities, and various storage facilities. The Company is managed by its external adviser, Gladstone Management Corporation.

Gladstone Land Corporation

The investment seeks investment results that correspond to the price and yield performance of the Indxx India Consumer Index. The fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets in Indian consumer companies included in the INCO underlying index and the advisor generally expects to be substantially invested at such times, with at least 95% of its net assets invested in these securities. The INCO underlying index is a maximum 30-stock free-float adjusted market capitalization-weighted index designed to measure the market performance of companies in the consumer industry, as defined by Indxx's proprietary methodology, in India. It is non-diversified.
