The Nueva Esperanza Project is a feasibility-stage development project with a resource base of about 0.49 million ounces of gold and 83.4 million ounces of silver. The Nueva Esperanza Project is in the maricunga gold belt of the atacama region of northern Chile, approximately 140 km north-east of the city of copiapo, a regional mining center. The Nueva Esperanza Project consists of various deposits hosted in a high sulphidation epithermal system.
